Master Wang Hai Jun began coming to Ireland 7 years ago and the level of Tai-Chi on the west coast where he focuses his teaching has improved immensely since his first seminar in 2002 in Galway.

Master Wang began his own training at aged 11 when he went to live full time with renowned Grandmaster Chen Zheng Lei at his home in Chenjiagou, Henan Province, China, {the birthplace of Tai-Chi} where he trained intensively and grew up being addressed honourarily as elder brother to Grandmaster Chen's children.

In 1996,97,98 Master Wang won Gold Medals in all 3 categories of hand forms,weapons and push hands in the National Championships of China .

Also in 1998 Master Wangs students and himself came away with one third of all the gold medals won that year!

Master Wang is THE ONLY LIVING coach to have trained 6 National Champions of China and many of his Chinese and non Chinese students have won gold medals in other international competitions .
Currently he lives in Manchester and travels regularly to a few select schools around the world where his goal is to raise the level of skill to as high a quality as possible.He has a rare level of exceptional Tai-Chi skill and is a generous and gifted teacher.
