Des began training with Niall O Floinn in September 2005. The following year he also began his studies with Master Wang Hai Jun.He is currently a 4th Duan grade holder within the Western grading system.

Des graduated from his 3 year teacher training at the Galway Tai Chi Academy in September 2009.He teaches in Westport,Claremorris and Sligo and is contactable on 087 2533898
